Implante imediato

Implante imediato

Abstract

The possibility of oral rehabilitation with dental implants has been very important in dentistry for the last 40 years. Initially recommended for completely edentulous mandibles, there was a rapid evolution in the improvement of dental implants as well as in the time spent to solve clinical cases. Scientific literature has shown success in the positioning of single-tooth implants immediately after tooth extraction, which is an important advance in Implantology. The objective of this paper is to report a clinical case in which it was decided to follow the procedure of immediate load implant in order to diminish the number of surgical interventions as well as the time between the implant positioning and the final prosthetic restoration, increasing then the satisfaction of the patient.

Key words: Single tooth implant. Immediate loading. Osseointegration. Immediate implants.
